Plumbing

• Toilet tank, bowl & mechanisms & wax ring seal (Toilet replacement with white builders standard as necessary)

Not Covered: Fixtures, faucets, filters, shower head, shower arm, show­er enclosure & base pan, caulking, grout, septic tank, toilet lid & seat, hose bibs, water heater heat pump attachment, holding or storage tanks, vents & flues, fuel storage tanks, solar equipment, bathtub jets, saunas or steam rooms, fire suppression, pop-up assembly, flow re­striction in fresh water lines caused by rust, corrosion, or chemical/ mineral deposits, water conditioning equipment, sewage ejectors.

Notes: AHW will not proceed with diagnostics, repair or replacement if current safety standards are not met. AHW will only be responsible for providing access for covered plumbing repairs through unobstructed walls, floors or ceilings. The access site shall be returned to a rough finish. Coverage for the diagnostics, access, repair or replacement of items located below a concrete slab & items sheathed in or enclosed by concrete is only available with the purchase of additional coverage and is limited underthis program to a maximum of $500 in aggregate.

Heating

heatingCoverage is limited to units not exceeding a five (5) ton capacity. Coverage for diagnostics, access, repair or replacement of heating systems utilizing steam, heated water, or glycol is limited to a maximum of $1,500 in the ag­gregate under this plan.

• Built in Wall or Floor Heater (if primary source of heat)

Not Covered: Timers/Clocks, vents, flues, chimneys, fuel storage tanks, fireplace & key valves, heat lamps, freestanding/window units, cable heat, zone controller, secondary drain pan, insulation, humidifiers, underground or outside components for geothermal &/or water source heat pumps, grain, pellet or wood heating units, heat pump refrigeration recapture, reclaim & disposal (unless optional coverage is purchased).

Plumbing stoppage

• Drain line stoppage which can be cleared with a sewer cable through an accessible existing ground level clean out.

• Clearing of main line

• Clearing of stoppages in sinks, tubs, shower drains, toilets

• Stoppages to be cleared up to 100 feet from point of access. Clearing of lateral drain lines to 100 feet from point of access including accessible clean out, p-trap, drain, overflow access point.

Not Covered: Stoppages caused by foreign objects, tree roots, access to drain line from vent, removal of toilet (including cost of replacement wax ring) & cost to access or install a ground level clean out, collapsed or broken lines outside the main foundation, access to drain or sewer* lines from roof vents, stoppages that cannot be cleared by cable.

Fans

Not Covered: Vents, flues, light kits, remote transmitters

Notes: Ceiling Fans replaced with builders standard (light kits & re­motes if needed will be charged extra)

Ductwork

Ductwork from the heating or cooling unit to the connection at the register or grill.

Not Covered: Grills & registers, insulation, dampers & ductwork where asbestos is present, diagnostic testing of or locating leaks to ductwork.

Kitchen appliances

Not Covered: Rotisseries, magnetic induction units, timers, handles, lights, knobs, dials, racks, shelves, runner guards, trim kits, baskets, rollers, removable trays, removable buckets, door glass, interior lining, detachable components, lock/key assembly, meat probe, refrigerator/ oven combo units, microwave/cooktop drawer combo unit, portable or freestanding microwave (Timer/Clock are covered if they effect the primary function of the unit).
